Location and Accommodation

The retreat takes place at Equin’Ozio, in Piedmont, northern Italy, a traditional well-restored 19th century cottage surrounded by woodland. The property includes a restaurant, indoor and outdoor yoga spaces, and comfortable rooms with private bathrooms.

The group is limited to 18 participants, with exclusive use of the property. Accommodation options range from shared rooms to single occupancy and a private wooden cottage (“casa nel bosco”).

Program and Food

The retreat runs from Sunday afternoon, 23 August, to Friday, 28 August 2026.

The program follows a structured daily rhythm designed for physical and mental reset: morning silent walk, light breakfast, and a two-hour asana practice; nutritious lunch; afternoon rest; a second two-hour asana practice; dinner; and an evening pranayama session.

The meals are vegetarian, with local products and vegan alternatives.

Mobile phone use is restricted to support a focused and restorative environment, with an option for a full digital detox.

For Whom?

Open to practitioners with Iyengar yoga experience, who are familiar with basic pranayama, Sirsasana (at the wall) and Sarvangasana.

• Triple room: €850
• Double room: €900
• Single room: €1,100
• “Casa nel bosco”: €1,300 (€1,050 per person for couples)

Prices include accommodation, meals, and the full program. Travel is not included. A shuttle from/to Turin will be organized by Equin’Ozio.

Teacher

Barbara Queirolo is a Level 3 certified Iyengar yoga teacher (previously Intermediate Senior II) with 30 years of practice and more than 20 years of teaching experience. She has trained with Cle Souren, Charles Hond and Annemieke Post at the BKS Iyengar Yoga Institute Amsterdam, has been 6 times at the RIMYI in Pune to study with the Iyengars and runs since 2015 the Iyengar Yoga Centrum Amsterdam.
