Lois Steinberg is coming back to the Netherlands for the first time since 2019! Seize this opportunity to learn from one of the foremost Iyengar yoga teachers in the world.
Lois’ teaching is infused with enthusiasm to share the knowledge and acumen that have come through her sustained practice and study of the tremendous work of B.K.S. Iyengar and his family. She strives to emphasise and exemplify whole-body transformation through the joy of regular immersion in practice. As a teacher, she is direct, dynamic, clear, focused, engaging, gently humorous, and an invaluable resource for understanding the healing potential of yoga. As a teacher of teachers, a hands-on mentoring approach is the focus of her teacher education programme.
Lois is the author of numerous books and articles and is widely respected for and consulted regarding her considerable knowledge of therapeutics. She is sought after worldwide for workshops, and serves as a member of and assessor for the Certification Committee of the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the U.S.
The workshop
The workshop will take place from 14-17 May 2026.
14 May is for teachers and teachers-in-training; all other days (15, 16 & 17 May) are open to everyone.
The workshop will take place at Akoesticum Ede. It can be easily reached by both car and public transport. There is limited accommodation available (private or shared rooms) for those who wish.
The cost of the workshop and accommodation depends on the number of days and, if booking accommodation, nights you wish to attend. Please go to our webshop to see the various options.
Until 25 January 2026, bookings are open with earlybird discount for the full workshop (3 or 4 days). From 26 January we will open bookings for single days and single nights depending on availability.
Lunch is included in the price for all workshop days. Breakfast and dinner are included for those who book accommodation at Akoesticum. Please note that there is no dinner provided for those arriving on Wednesday 13 May.

Our AGM will take place on Saturday 16 May in the lunch break, from 13:45-15:15. We invite all IYVN members to join us for this meeting.
Sunday 17 May: 9:00-12:00 & 13:30-15:30
Props: we will let participants know nearer the time which props will be needed.
There may be the possibility to rent a limited number of prop sets for those coming from afar. Please contact info@iyvn.nl if you think you might require rented props.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation before 25 January 2026: 100% restitution (minus any bank charges)
Cancellation between 25 January & 14 February 2026: 50% restitution (minus any bank charges)
Cancellation after 14 February 2026: no restitution possible
